Ambiguous

The best type of poetry allows you to make of it what you will.

Te Necesito

As a woman, yes I am strong, smart, witty and confident as a matter of fact women are great. We have been equipped with some of the best attributes and skills. But sometimes I feel like women are trying to fight. They view the man as opposition and although I understand, because we have suffered at the hands of a sexist system, sometimes all you have to do is tap into that thing within you that makes you, you. It's you're one and only secret weapon. Being you.
With all that being said, a man that knows how to be himself can be a great strength for a great woman. The way I see it and as the great Jill Scott said, 'I need you', they provide something different and there isn't anything more beautiful than being a crutch for one another.

For Better For Worse

Are we actually ready for when worse becomes worse? Is the notion 'for better, for worse' subjective? When does vulnerability become a burden? I want to see your warrior wounds, so I know it's real.

Confined

I leave this one for you to interpret. I'll allow the words to mean what they will, to you.

Giving In No More

Have you ever been in a situation where some has you. They have your heart. They know this is a fact. Sometimes this can be abused, they click their fingers and there you are. Love is beautiful. But it is even more beautiful when you are both in sync.

An Insecure Love

Trust should be a major foundation for any relationship. Yet because of love and time invested in situations we somethings allow ourselves to suffer through.
Issues of love are never as simple as to just walk away, sometimes we can be guilty of overthinking every little thing and other times we have legitimate reason for concern.
I always say follow your heart but never forget your head in the process.

Who He Really Is

London is the city of firm faces, you can be on a commute to work and not see a friendly face in sight . I was on the tube and a man was sat opposite me, face like a brick wall. You could tell he was a businessman, nice tailor fitted suit and clean shoes. He didn't look approachable, not in the slightest. I could imagine him being the mean boss in a work place, all status no empathy. So I got up as we approached my stop and so did he. As we walked towards the escalator he had his Oyster card at hand. He tapped out and was greeted by a beautiful young woman and the smile I saw on his face was refreshing. That stern business man from the tube had blossomed when he saw his lady. They exchanged pleasantries, he loosened his tie and put his arm around her tight. She clung to him and was staring up at him in awe.

I hope you enjoy my next piece.
